Dear Mark, I shall long remember my 80th--for the venue, the food, the warm welcome from you & Rebecca & the fact that everyone important to me was there. Mark--you SO went out of your way for us, opening early & making a remarkable spread. Erik just knew I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but Cafe Dolce.  And thank-you for packing up the leftovers. I can't get over the quality of the food--every piece of pastrami/corned beef, asparagus spear, smoked salmon, each & every grape!!--You know I'm a "foodie" by way of education & career. I studied Food Science as part of my Cornell degree & then worked for a Mfr.'s  rep in hawking Housewares & Small Appliances--then went on to Food Technology at Thomas J. Lipton. And Cooking & Baking are still my therapy! If you should ever need a testimonial/ reference, I can recommend you & your professional operation. Allison 2007.11.19 21:00 This is the best bar ever! I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is great and the bands are always top notch. I love this place, you're outside, covered and heated, high def tv's, cute waitresses and the owner is always boppin around and he's a real nice guy. The ring of fire is really cool and it's really well heated under the walled awnings. Can't say enough about the place, it's a gem and one of a kind.
