Elisabetta Foradori is leading the pack of premier winemakers. Many of the winemakers we have loved have been significantly influenced by her. Simply glance at a picture of her and you will know why. Elisabetta is a resolute and inspiring figure. Beneath the imposing backdrop of the Dolomites, I am not sure which I find more impressive, Elisabetta or the mountains.
Elisabetta took leadership of the Foradori family vineyards when her father suddenly passed away.
Over the years she has experimented many times over with various winemaking methods, landing on the philosophy of biodynamics.
Biodynamics seeks to create a holistic environment, placing importance not only on the grapes but also on the plants, moon, sun, and animals that help to create them.
Her wines teach us the value of authenticity to indigenous varietals and unique terroir. They express themselves beautifully and honestly.

Elizabetta’s wines accomplish what we all strive to do in our own work. They successfully convey the intention and character of their creator. It’s this- The ability to manifest her own self through wine- that I believe most winemakers seek to emulate.
It is for these reasons that we have chosen Elisabetta Foradori’s Teroldego to replace our beloved Le Ragnaie Rosso di Montalcino as our signature red for a time. Le Ragnaie Rosso will be back. For now, however, we are fortunate to enjoy Elisabetta’s integral wines.

An archangel amongst Italy’s finest.
Foradori Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco 2016 Trento, IT 65
France holds on high her rich white Burgundy. Deutschland her jaw-dropping Riesling. Now Italy boosts Foradori’s extraordinary manzoni bianco. Worthy of great consideration. Absolutely stunning.
