Beer vs. Wine: Or how we learned to stop choosing and love them both!

 

     At Caffe Dolce we are wine drinkers. Although, if you ask any employee including the wine director, what they drank after work, on the river, on a sunday afternoon . . .  you can safely assume the answer will be beer.

 

We are also beer people. Don’t force us to choose. With that in mind, join us Monday, April 27th at 5:30pm for an incredible five course dinner with BOTH beer and wine pairings chosen by the beer and wine directors of Caffe Dolce and the beer masters at Big Sky Brewing Company.

 

This event focuses on finding those otherworldly pairings of food and drink.  We want our wine parings transcendent, and our beer pairings glorious. We want to be surprised. We want to elevate the experience of the food as well as the drink. We want to simply share good food and good drink. Cheers!

Third: Moose Drool

Crate Lake Blue Cheese and Blackberry Crostini with Dark Chocolate
Salad:

 

Coffee and Arbol Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin and Arugula Salad with Passionfruit Vinaigrette and Caramelized Honey

 

Pasta:
Penne Cove Mussels and Bucatini Pasta Sautéed with Pomodoraccio Tomato, Ancho and Cayenne Chilies, Garlic, and White Wine

 

 Entrée:
Braised Beef Oxtails with Mascarpone Mashed Potatoes and Wilted Mustard Greens

 

Dessert:
Rosemary and White Wine Poached Apple Tartlet with Goat Cheese Gelato
